Peter DeLongis began his legal career in 1982 as a felony criminal prosecutor with the Cook County State's Attorney's office. As a First Chair Felony Prosecutor, Mr. DeLongis was involved in prosecuting serious criminal offenses, including sex offenses, drug-related offenses, gang-related offenses, and homicides. Mr. DeLongis has successfully prosecuted hundreds of bench trials and dozens of jury trials. More than a dozen of the jury trials prosecuted by Mr. DeLongis involved murder. He joined Botti Law Firm, P.C., as an associate attorney in 1988, and became a partner in 1995. Since joining Botti Law Firm, P.C., he has specialized in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury, and family law. His extensive trial experience and diligent trial preparation make him extremely qualified to represent clients in diverse legal matters. He has achieved numerous substantial personal injury awards for the firm's clients in complex cases arising from construction site accidents, vehicle accidents, premises liability, pedestrian accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and product liability. 

Mr. DeLongis is also well experienced in all aspects of complex civil and family law litigation in both state and federal courts. He attributes his ongoing success in litigation to his early trial experience as a criminal prosecutor and his relentless desire to obtain the most favorable results possible for the firm's clients.
